They’re still working on the hat, but Leo’s almost all prepared to join Softboy in Chrisville’s Halloween celebrations. That is, if these strange little arguments don’t keep interrupting everything.

Fun fact: I was going to put in a more fitting punchline, where Leo brings up a number of beloved properties that were sullied by tacky American movie adaptations (ie The Smurfs, Alvin and the Chipmunks, almost any work by Dr. Seuss, etc.). However, not only could I not think up a list long enough for the punchline to be suitably funny, but also my computer started to malfunction and I lost a day or so of work because of it. Exhausted, I finally scrambled to shove in an actual argument I had with a British friend a week or so ago about calling ketchup a “tomato sauce.” I checked this argument with another UK friend, and it seems to be a legit difference in understanding.

If you like this comic, make sure you’re following the blog and feel free to visit my Ko-Fi page!

Today’s prompt “In Your Style” didn’t really make much sense to me, so I decided to finally experiment with the Animal Crossing style!

Softboy’s hair looks a little different than it should, but when I Google searched images of player hair, I couldn’t find a satisfactory style. So I chose the next best one.

We’re getting a little dark with today’s prompt: “Post-Apocalpyse.”

Fun fact: Softboy’s patched up eye actually comes from the events of my original thesis trilogy. Near the end of the third book, Softboy finds himself in the middle of a huge fight, one that takes a turn for the worse.

Leo’s injuries, though, have all been invented for today’s drawing. Hopefully, nothing in either book or comic canon will ever make them come true.

Somehow it only took five days until I needed to use the Wite-Out…

Today’s prompt is “Fave Superhero/Villain”, so here’s a Spiderboy Pillowman and Doctor Leo Strange.

Fun facts: I almost drew Softboy as Superman, because I can definitely imagine him as one of Softboy’s favorite superheroes. However, I wanted to have both his and Leo’s heroes be from the same franchise, so I chose Spiderman, whom Softboy also loves.

Also, if this blog was allowed to go 16+, I would’ve drawn Softboy and Leo as a very niche, adult, and ridiculous superhero duo. Unfortunately, their very names are a bit too mature to say, but feel free to guess in a DM.
